The Blue Yonder was created to provide meaningful travel experiences for discerning travellers. It all started back in 2004 with a small initiative on river conservation in the state of Kerala. From then on, we’ve been knitting together many beautiful and inspirational holidays for our guests.

Gopi founded The Blue Yonder in 2004,when Responsible Tourism was in it's early stages globally. A trained disaster manager, Gopi, has been repurposing tourism resource and tools to build Climate Resilience within destinations for past 20 years. He looks at his business as an opportuniy to co-create better places for people to live. His favourite travel experiences from The Blue Yonder continues to be River Nila, where it all started.
Naomi joined The Blue Yonder after graduating from her MSc in Responsible Tourism Management. Currently living between Kochi in Kerala, and London in the UK, she loves nothing more than sharing the magic of South Asia with anyone who will listen!
Puviarasan brings a wealth of diverse experience to our team. With an MBA in Tourism and eight years in the development sector, he now leads the sustainability aspects of The Blue Yonder as a Sustainability Manager.
Deepika's got a thing for travel—especially the kind where you end up in places your GPS has never heard of. She’s all about creating those “you had to be there” moments that connect travelers with the heart and soul of local communities. Whether she’s unearthing hidden gems or cooking up experiences that leave both locals and visitors with great stories to tell, Deepika’s your go-to person for adventures that are anything but ordinary.
Meet Swati Prasad Pyda, the Special Interest Curator at The Blue Yonder. With over 12 years of experience as a performer and teacher in Odissi, Kalaripayattu, and Yoga, Swati blends her love for arts, wellness and culinary into unique travel experiences. She curated a series of performing arts focused travel experiences called the Dancescapes, where the travelers can explore the destination from a performing artist's point of view. She's a passionate storyteller who enjoys connecting travelers with the rich intangible heritage across India and beyond. When she's not curating trips, Swati is busy building a movement wellness platform called Kommunity based out of NYC, exploring local foods, or sipping a cup of chai with kindred souls.
