Desert Sunset at Sam Sand Dunes

This day trip takes you to three incredible spots that lie on the outskirts of Jaisalmer. Our first stop will be Kuldhara, an abandoned village once inhabited by the Paliwal Brahmins. Of note are the water storage and irrigation methods that they used. Next up is the splendour of Bada Bagh. These are the royal cenotaphs (chhatris) of the maharajas and maharanis of Jaisalmer. Executed in beautiful sandstone, the earliest chhatris are from the mid 1700’s. We’ll end the day at the Sam Sand Dunes. Experience the magical sunset of a desert land in addition to an optional camel ride.
