Day Excursion to Nagda Eklingji Temples

This is a half day trip from Udaipur to the Nagda Eklingi Temples, both of which have old Hindu temples. This tour is a must do for every archaeology and history buff!
 
The Eklingji complex dates back more than 1300 years old. There are 108 sandstone and marble shrines within the temple complex. Eklingji, the temple diety, is one of the many forms of Lord Shiva and the ruling deity of Mewar.
 
22 kilometers from Udaipur, the Saas Bahu Temple Complex includes a cluster of temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built in the 9th and 10th century. Though now in ruins, you’ll get to marvel at the perfect symmetry and workmanship of these ancient temples.
