The Majesty of the Delhi Red Fort
Located in the center of Delhi, the Lal Qila, Red Fort, was home to Mughal emperors of India from Shah Jahan to Bahadur Shah (the last Mughal Emperor of India), over a span of 200 years. The ceremonial and political center of the Mughal Empire, the Red Fort was the last of the many forts built by the Mughals in the 1600s.

The Qutub Minar complex takes one back to the dawn of Islamic rulers in India, when the “Slave Dynasty” from Turkey brought Islam and their ways to India. The complex houses the Qutub Minar, the Iron Pillar of Delhi, the Alai Minar and India’s first mosque – Quwwat ul Islam.
